You're a good son for going to see The Happening with your old man. It's too bad neither of you liked it.
PT Anderson is a genius for casting Marky Mark as an uneducated pornstar in Boogie Nights. It'll probably be the one he'll be remembered for most.
I didn't see 30 Days Of Night, but being a vampire movie, I imagine it's quite gory. They ought to lock up that broad who brought her young children to see it.
P.S. Love the Mallrats poster. Also, I was surprised you didn't have a southern twang, being from Georgia and all.
a defining moment in my life was during freshman year, when my English teacher (from Boston or thereabouts) told me I had a southern accent. I've spent the past three years trying my best to never, ever be told that again, so thank you for the complement!
And the Mallrats poster is my favorite... I've been meaning to get it framed ever since one of my brother's alky friends tore the corner. It flaps when you open or close the door.

About the twang:

I wasn't quite sure. Did you think is was a terrible movie? You...you were a bit around the bush, and I just didn't pick up on your point.
Uh, didn't like it.
